Section 45-48-142.21 Establishment of volunteer fire districts. The Marshall County Commission
may establish one or more volunteer fire districts within the geographic boundaries of the
county. No land lying within the boundaries of a municipality at the time a district is formed
shall be included in a district unless the municipality adopts a resolution to be included

Section 45-25-90 DeKalb County Community Development Commission. (a) There is created the DeKalb
County Community Development Commission which shall be authorized to receive, and by majority
vote to distribute, any funds in the Community Development Fund created herein for the purposes
of promoting economic development, education, conservation, and fire protection. These funds
shall be expended in each House of Representatives district in DeKalb County in accordance

Section 45-48-170 Board of health fees. (a) The Marshall County Board of Health shall designate
the services rendered by the county health department for which fees may be charged and shall
set the fee to be charged for each service. Any fees to be charged under the authority of
this section by the county health department shall be subject to approval by the respective
county commission prior to implementation. The health department is hereby authorized to charge
and collect such fees. All fees collected shall be in addition to any and all federal, state,
and local appropriations. Any fees collected shall be processed in accordance with the recommendations

Section 45-49-171.41 Mobile County Indigent Care Board authorized. At the determination of
the county commission, there may be hereby established the Mobile County Indigent Care Board,
hereinafter referred to as the board, whose composition and duties shall be as follows: (1)

Section 9-3-20 Exemption of timber lands from local fire district service charges and fees;
jurisdiction of Alabama Forestry Commission. (a) A local fire district may not assess any
type of fees or dues upon forest land that is treated as timber land for ad valorem tax purposes.
(b) The authority and responsibility for the control and coordination of fire prevention,
fire protection, and fire fighting services on land treated as timber land for ad valorem

(a) There is hereby created the Franklin County Community Development Commission which shall
