The county revenue commissioner shall collect and pay into the general fund of the county
all fees, percentages, commissions, and other allowances which the tax assessor or the tax
collector of the county are now or hereafter may be by law authorized and directed to charge
or collect for the performance of any duty hereby imposed on the county revenue commissioner.

Section 11-89C-10 Assessment, collection, etc., of fees, charges, or assessments. (a) The tax
assessor and the tax collector, or other public official performing the functions of the tax
assessor and tax collector, of every county in this state shall, upon request, implement procedures

and comments on the tentative budget as provided for in Section 45-48-70.54, but before September
30, the commission shall adopt and approve a final budget for the ensuing fiscal year which
