Section 6-12-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADJUSTED FOR INFLATION. Increased in accordance with the formula for inflation adjustment set forth in Exhibit C to the Master Settlement Agreement. (2) AFFILIATE. A person who directly or indirectly owns or controls, is owned or controlled by, or is under common ownership or control with, another person. Solely for purposes of this definition, the terms "owns," "is owned," and "ownership" mean ownership of an equity interest, or the equivalent thereof, of ten percent or more, and the term "person" means an individual, partnership, committee, association, corporation, or any other organization or group of persons. Section 40-25-14 Filing of monthly report and customs certificates. Each and every wholesaler or jobber qualifying as such with the Department of Revenue shall be required to file a report between the first and twentieth of each month, covering the purchase or receipt by them of all tobacco products enumerated and defined herein during the preceding month. Said report shall give in detail the different kinds and quantities of tobacco products so purchased or received by them during the preceding month. Section 40-1-44 Interest on delinquent taxes and overpayments. (a) Interest shall be added as provided herein to any tax or other amount due the department which is not paid by the due date.
