Section 45-8A-20.01 Definitions. The following words and phrases used in this part, and others
evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein
otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) "Applicant"
means a natural person who files a written application with the governing body of the city
in accordance with the provisions of Section 45-8A-20.03. (2) "Authority" means
the Anniston Downtown Development Authority, a public corporation organized pursuant to the
provisions of this part. (3) "Authorizing resolution" means a resolution adopted
by the governing body of the city in accordance with the provisions of Section 45-8A-20.03,
that authorizes the corporation of the authority. (4) "Board" means the board of
directors of the authority. (5) "Bonds" means and shall include bonds, notes, and
certificates representing an obligation to pay money. (6) "City" means the City

user thereof of freight cars, oxygen and acetylene tanks, and similar property, in respect
of which detention a demurrage or per diem charge is made against the user of such property,

Section 11-31-3 Board of directors - Officers; meetings; powers; funding. (a)(1) The board
of directors of the authority may do all of the following: a. Appoint a chair from among its
membership, subject to an annual rotation of the chair position between or among the representative
members of the board from each county comprising the radio/alert notification communications

of an unincorporated community, which has a population of not less than 300, constituting
a body of citizens whose residences are contiguous to and all of which form a homogeneous

Section 40-31-3 Temporary presence and residency in state for purpose of responding to declared
state of emergency. (a) An out-of-state employee performing disaster or emergency related
work on infrastructure owned or operated by a registered business, municipality, county, or
