Section 45-44A-40.01 Findings of appropriate city official; notice. The term appropriate
city official as used in this part shall mean any city official or city employee designated
by the mayor or other chief executive officer of the city as the person to exercise the authority
and perform the duties delegated by this part to the appropriate city official. Whenever the
appropriate city official of the city shall find that any building, structure, part of building

Section 25-4-134 Procedures for collection of delinquent contribution payments. (a)
Generally. The contributions, interest, and penalties required to be paid under this chapter
shall be a first and prior lien upon all property and rights to property, real or personal,

Section 11-53A-25 Fixing costs of demolition; city to obtain lien. Upon demolition of
the building or structure, the appropriate city official shall make a report of the governing
body of the costs thereof, and the governing body shall adopt a resolution fixing the costs
which it finds were reasonably incurred in the demolition and assessing the same against the
property. The proceeds received from the sale of salvaged materials from the building or structure

Section 40-1-2 Lien for taxes - Generally. (a) If any person liable to pay any tax,
other than ad valorem taxes, neglects or refuses to pay the same the amount, including any
interest, penalty, additional amount, or addition to such tax, together with any costs which

Section 8-15-34 Satisfaction of owner's lien. An owner's lien as provided for a claim
which has become due may be satisfied as follows: (1) No enforcement action shall be taken
by the owner until the occupant has been in default continuously for a period of 30 days.
(2) Prior to taking enforcement action pursuant to this section, the owner shall determine
whether a financing statement has been filed in accordance with Title 7 concerning the property
to be sold or otherwise disposed of, with the Secretary of State, in the county where the
