Section 22-32-1 Enactment of Southeast Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management
Compact. The Southeast Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Compact is hereby
enacted into law and entered into by the State of Alabama with any and all states legally
joining therein in accordance with its terms, in the form substantially as follows: SOUTHEAST
INTERSTATE LOW-LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT COMPACT Article I. Policy and Purpose There
is hereby created the Southeast Interstate Low-Level Radioactive Waste Management Compact.
The party states recognize and declare that each state is responsible for providing for the
availability of capacity either within or outside the state for the disposal of low-level
radioactive waste generated within its borders, except for waste generated as a result of
defense activities of the federal government or federal research and development activities.

Section 45-48-80 Additional court costs - Child protection. (a) In order to further
provide for the protection and welfare of children in Marshall County who are alleged to be
or have been found by the juvenile court of the county to be abused and neglected or otherwise
dependent pursuant to Section 12-15-102, a fee of four dollars ($4) shall be charged
and collected by the clerk of the court on each district court case in Marshall County. The
fee shall be in addition to all other costs and charges in district court cases in Marshall
County. (b) The clerk of court shall collect the fee in the same manner as other costs in
district court and shall remit the fee to the Child Protection Fund in the county treasury
to be administered by the presiding juvenile judge of Marshall County. Any money distributed

any court costs and fees now or hereafter authorized in Lauderdale County, an additional fee

Section 45-45-82.02 Juror parking. (a) The governing body of Madison County, by resolution
thereof, shall have the power to maintain and provide parking for the use of the jurors; and
shall have the power to appropriate such funds as are necessary and appropriate for such purpose.
All resolutions providing parking for jurors shall be filed in the Probate Office of Madison
County and with the Administrative Director of Courts. (b) Upon the adoption of a resolution
providing the parking described in this section, Madison County shall establish and
maintain a separate fund known as the Madison County Juror Parking Fund. The county juror

Section 45-45-110.02 Meeting days. (a) The Board of Registrars of Madison County shall
meet at the county courthouse for the purpose of registering voters on the first Monday in
each month, and may also meet an additional 220 days in each calendar year any place in the

to be designated the Dallas County Law Library Fund, which fund shall be expended as hereinafter

Section 11-80-13 Cemetery rehabilitation authorities. (a)(1) County commissions may
establish a county cemetery rehabilitation authority, hereinafter authority, to designate,
register, and maintain neglected cemeteries lying outside any municipal area within the county.
(2) When a county commission establishes an authority, it shall appoint a board to oversee
the duties given to the authority. Each board member shall serve at the pleasure of the county

Section 41-14A-6 Establishment of SAFE board of directors; powers and duties of the
board of directors. (a) There is hereby established a Board of Directors of the SAFE Program
charged with responsibility and authority to assess and manage the sufficiency of the collateral
pool and the SAFE Program to provide adequate protection from losses to public depositors.

Section 17-3-5 Compensation and allowances for registrars; treatment as state employees.
(a) Each registrar shall receive a salary in the amount of eighty dollars ($80) per day for
each day's attendance upon business of the board, to be paid by the state and disbursed to
the county commissions and disbursed by the county commissions to each registrar on order
of a quorum of the board of registrars of the county. The state Comptroller shall issue to
each county commission on a monthly basis an amount sufficient to fund these payments plus
the employer share of the Social Security or Federal Insurance Corporation Act tax. The county
commission will provide to the state Comptroller an invoice itemized to reflect payments made.

Section 45-44-81 Law library. In any case, action, or proceeding hereafter filed, whether
at law or in equity in any circuit or district court in Macon County, there is hereby authorized
to be charged a tax of one dollar ($1) which tax shall be in addition to all other court costs
