Section 45-14-60 Expense allowance. In Clay County, the coroner shall be entitled to receive
an expense allowance of one thousand dollars ($1,000) per month, to be paid monthly out of
the general fund of the county. The expense allowance provided in this section shall be in
addition to the payment of the actual and necessary expenses of the coroner for the operation
