Section 22-3-8 County quarantine officers. There shall be in each county having no health officer a county quarantine officer, who shall be a licensed physician and who shall be appointed by the State Committee of Public Health on the recommendation of the county board of health, whose tenure of office shall expire on the election of a county health officer; provided, that in no event shall his term of office extend more than three years from the date of his appointment; and provided further, that the State Committee of Public Health shall have power to remove a quarantine officer at any time, in its judgment, the public good requires such removal. Section 45-11-240 Compensation of tax assessor and tax collector. (a)(1) The following officers of Chilton County shall, commencing at their next term of office, be entitled to receive compensation as follows: a. The tax assessor, an annual salary of twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000). b. The tax collector, an annual salary of twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000). Section 45-48-242 Additional tax on wholesale price of spirituous or vinous liquors. In Marshall County, in addition to all other taxes of every kind now imposed by law, there is hereby levied and shall be collected a county tax at the rate of five percent upon the wholesale price of all spirituous or vinous liquors sold by the Alcoholic Beverage Control Board to any retailer of spirituous or vinous liquors or beverages containing such liquors. Section 45-49-70 Salary. (a) The members of the Mobile County Commission, the governing body of Mobile County, shall each receive an annual salary of fifty-seven thousand dollars ($57,000).
