Section 11-44D-6 Provisions applicable to both mayor-council and manager-council forms of government. The following provisions shall apply regardless of which form of government the majority of the qualified electors voting in the referendum provided herein choose: (1) Within 30 days after the referendum, the governing body of such municipality shall adopt an ordinance, a. At the time fixed for receiving and considering the report, the governing body shall hear the report, together with any objections which may be raised by any of the property owners liable to be assessed for the work of abating the nuisance and thereupon make modifications in the report as deemed necessary, after which by motion or resolution the report shall be confirmed.
