Section 45-44-231.41 Definitions. Certain terms, as used in this subpart, shall have the following meaning: (1) BOARD. The county rehabilitation board composed of the probate judge, the district attorney, the sheriff, the circuit judge, the superintendent of education, the head of the ministerial conference, the juvenile probation officer, the probation officer, the Chair of the Macon County Commission, the mayors of all towns and cities within Macon County, the president of each public school parent-teacher association, the president of the county civic association, a representative of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and a representative of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. (a) The Macon County Racing Commission is hereby created and established and is vested with the powers and duties specified in this part, and all other powers necessary and proper to enable it to execute fully and effectually the purposes of this part. (a)(1) There is established an advisory committee to be known as the Cahawba Advisory Committee, composed of 16 members, 15 of whom shall be appointed by the Governor.
