The Sheriff of Macon County is authorized to employ a county jail administrator, who shall serve at the pleasure of the sheriff and shall perform such duties as the sheriff may direct. (a) The county commission of any county in which a Class III municipality is located may pass an ordinance prohibiting topless, bottomless, or nude dancing for monetary consideration within the boundaries of the county. (a) In Blount County, the district attorney for the Forty-first Judicial Circuit may appoint, with the concurrence of the county governing body, an investigator for the office who shall serve at the pleasure of the district attorney.
