Section 34-27C-4 License application; renewal; fee. (a) Commencing on May 21, 2009, any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing private security services in this state shall apply to the board for a license or certification. Any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing security services in this state before May 21, 2009, may continue to engage in business operations pending a final determination by the board, provided such security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company files an application for license. This chapter shall not abrogate the terms of a contract existing on May 21, 2009. (b) An application for licensure or certification shall include all of the following information: (1) The full name, home address, post office box, and actual street address of the business of the applicant. Section 40-2B-2 Alabama Tax Tribunal. (a) Statement of Purpose. To increase public confidence in the fairness of the state tax system, the state shall provide an independent agency with tax expertise to resolve disputes between the Department of Revenue and taxpayers, prior to requiring the payment of the amounts in issue or the posting of a bond, but after the taxpayer has had a full opportunity to attempt settlement with the Department of Revenue based, among other things, on the hazards of litigation. Section 45-32-150.09 Suspension or revocation of license. The commission may suspend or revoke the license of any licensee conducting a race meeting, upon the willful violation of any of the provisions of this part, or any rule or regulation promulgated by the commission or may invoke a fine not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1,000) per offense in lieu thereof.
