Section 45-25-240 Election; consolidation of offices; deputies, clerks, and assistants; duties. (a) After September 30, 1997, there shall be a county revenue commissioner in DeKalb County. A commissioner shall be elected at the general election in 1996, and at the general election every six years thereafter, who shall serve for a term of six years beginning on the first day of October next after his or her election, and until his or her successor is elected and has qualified. Section 22-32-4 Authorization to operate site; users' charges; lease or contract for operation and disposal of low-level radioactive wastes. (a) The Alabama Department of Energy is authorized to operate a treatment, storage or disposal site for low-level radioactive wastes pursuant to any license issued by the Radiation Control Agency. Section 22-35-5 Fee; withdrawals; disposition of funds; liability for clean-up costs; audit. (a) Every owner of an underground or aboveground storage tank as defined in this chapter shall pay an Underground and Aboveground Storage Tank Trust Fund fee as established by the provisions of this chapter to be paid to the department.
