Section 45-35-232.32 Houston County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission. (a) There is created the Houston County Work Release and Pretrial Release Commission, hereinafter called the commission. The commission shall be composed of seven persons, including the following: The Sheriff of Houston County, the District Attorney of the Twentieth Judicial Circuit, the presiding judge of the circuit, the presiding district court judge, one associate district court judge appointed by the presiding district court judge, the Chair of the Houston County Commission or another Houston County Commissioner appointed by the chair, and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Houston County. The chair of the commission shall be elected by the commission from among its membership annually at its first meeting of each calendar year. (a) The Lauderdale County Commission is hereby authorized to provide adequate parking for petit jurors, grand jurors, witnesses, and employees of the state and county having offices in the county courthouse. Section 45-7-82.27 Costs and fees. (a) Prior to admission, the office of the district attorney may charge a nonrefundable application fee of one hundred dollars ($100). The amount of the assessment for participation in the program shall be in addition to any program supervision fees, court costs, and assessments for drug, alcohol, or anger treatments required by law, the district attorney, or the court, and are in addition to costs of supervision, treatment, and restitution for which the pretrial diversion admittee may be responsible. It may be mandatory for the offender to pay all court costs for the offense charged. Section 12-19-311 Bail bond fees. (a)(1) In addition to all other charges, costs, taxes, or fees levied by law on bail bonds, additional fees as detailed in paragraph a. and paragraph b. shall be imposed on every bail bond in all courts of this state. The fee shall not be assessed in traffic cases, except for those serious traffic offenses enumerated in Title 32, Chapter 5A, Article 9. Where multiple charges arise out of the same incident, the bond fee pursuant to this section shall only be assessed on one charge.
