Section 45-27-81.01 Solicitor's fee. (a) In all juvenile, traffic, criminal, and quasi-criminal
cases in the juvenile, district, circuit, and municipal courts in Escambia County, a docket
fee, hereinafter referred to as a solicitor's fee, shall be assessed in each case. The fees,
when collected, shall be distributed monthly to the Solicitor's Fund or District Attorney's
Fund in the county or to the fund that may be hereafter prescribed by law for the solicitor's
fee. The solicitor's fee shall be in an amount equal to all docket fees, recoupments, or court
costs which are assessed upon an adjudication of guilt in a criminal case and distributed
to the Fair Trial Tax Fund. (b) The solicitor's fee shall be collected in all criminal cases
where the defendant is adjudged guilty, a bond forfeited, a penalty imposed, or where there

Section 45-27-81.02 Additional booking fee in certain cases. (a) In Escambia County, a booking
fee in the amount of thirty dollars ($30) shall be assessed against and collected from each
person booked or incarcerated into the Escambia County Detention Center and subsequently convicted.
The fee assessed pursuant to this section shall be in addition to any fines, court costs,
or other charges imposed. (b) The booking fee imposed by this section shall be assessed against
a defendant upon conviction by a court of law where the defendant is convicted. The clerk
of the court shall enter the amount of the fee as provided in this section on the docket sheet
and shall collect the fee in the same manner and the same time as court costs. Notwithstanding

Section 45-27A-30.11 Violations; waiver. (a) If the offender violates any condition of the
pretrial diversion program agreed to in writing by the offender, the municipal prosecutor
may terminate the participation of the offender in the pretrial diversion program and may
actively pursue the prosecution of the offender for the offense or offenses or violation or
violations charged. The offender shall be given written notice of the intent of the municipal
prosecutor to terminate him or her from the pretrial diversion program, including the reason

Section 12-1-19 Monthly reports of clerks of circuit, district and municipal courts as to fines,
fees, etc., collected. The clerks of the circuit courts and the clerks of the district and
municipal courts in this state shall each prepare a monthly report on a form to be approved
by the Chief Examiner of Public Accounts showing by totals the amount of fines, trial tax,
district attorney fees and other fees that accrue to benefit of the state, county or municipality
