Section 45-42-170 Legislative findings. The regulation of the accumulation and storage of junk,
inoperable motor vehicles, and other litter within the unincorporated areas of Limestone County,
and licensing the operation of junkyards within the unincorporated areas of Limestone County
is hereby declared to be in the public interest and necessary to promote the public safety,
health, welfare, convenience, and enjoyment of public travel; to protect the public investment
in public highways; to preserve and enhance the scenic beauty of lands and the environment;
and to promote the conservation of natural mineral resources by encouraging recycling. The
Legislature finds and declares that within the unincorporated areas of Limestone County the

Section 32-5A-178 Racing on highways; penalties. (a) It is a violation of this section for
any person to drive any vehicle on any public highway in any race, speed competition or contest,
drag race or acceleration contest, test of physical endurance, exhibition of speed or acceleration,

Section 37-3-20 Tariffs of common carriers. (a) Every common carrier by motor vehicle shall
file with the commission and keep open to the public inspection tariffs showing all the rates,
fares and charges for transportation and all services in connection therewith of passengers
or property in intrastate commerce in the State of Alabama between points on its own route

Section 40-17-322 Definitions. As used in this article and unless the context requires otherwise,

Section 45-37-200.03 Issuance of motor vehicle or boat registrations; fees; disposition of
funds. (a) The Legislature finds that Jefferson County has reduced the number of locations
where the citizens of Jefferson County may be issued their motor vehicle registrations due

truck, semitrailer, and trailer shall be equipped with pneumatic tires of sufficient traction
