Section 34-27-61 Hearing; refusal, suspension, or revocation of license; willful violation
defined; escrow deficiency. The commission may upon its own motion, or upon the verified complaint
in writing of any person, hold a hearing regarding an alleged violation by any person or business
entity of this article. Any person found guilty of having violated any provision of this article
or any rule, regulation, or order of the commission shall be subject to the refusal of a license,
if not licensed; or, if licensed, to the suspension or revocation of such license and/or a
monetary penalty of not less than $25 nor more than $1,000. Such hearing shall be held in
a manner prescribed by the Alabama Real Estate License Law and the rules and regulations of

Section 45-42-150.02 Bingo games - Permits. (a) No qualified organization or club shall
be permitted to operate a bingo game unless the bingo game is located in the confines of Limestone
County. The permit described in this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other
business licenses which may be required by law. No bingo game shall be operated until all
required licenses have been obtained. A permit holder may hold only one permit and the permit
shall be valid for only one location. A permit shall not be assignable or transferable. (b)
Any qualified organization or club desiring to obtain a permit to operate bingo games in a

Section 11-65-12 Review of commission action. Any person aggrieved by the refusal of
a commission to issue any license or permit, or the suspension or revocation of a license
or permit, the imposition of a fine, the disapproval of a contract, or any other action or
failure of action by the commission, may, within 60 days of such action or failure of action,
appeal to the circuit court of the host county. If such court finds that the action of such
commission, or its failure to take action, was arbitrary, unreasonable, or contrary to the
provisions of this chapter, it shall order the issuance or reinstatement of such license or
