Section 33-12-5 Powers, duties and functions. The powers, duties and functions of the agency
shall be as follows: (1) GENERALLY. The agency a. Shall have perpetual succession in its corporate
name. b. May sue and be sued in its corporate name. c. May adopt, use and alter a corporate
seal, which shall be judicially noticed. d. May enter into such contracts and cooperative
agreements with the federal, state and local governments, with agencies of such governments,
with private individuals, corporations, associations, trusts and other organizations as the
board may deem necessary or convenient to enable it to carry out the purposes of this chapter,

Section 34-1A-1 Definitions. For the purpose of this chapter, the following terms shall have

Section 34-3-6 Who may practice as attorneys. (a) Only such persons as are regularly licensed
have authority to practice law. (b) For the purposes of this chapter, the practice of law

Section 34-30-22 Qualifications of applicants. The State Board of Social Work Examiners shall
issue a license as a "licensed bachelor social worker," a "licensed master
social worker," or a "licensed independent clinical social worker" to an applicant

Section 41-4-323 Purpose; employees; compensation and benefits; payment of expenses; implementation;
additional duties of director. (a) The Office of Indigent Defense Services is established
to carry out the administrative duties relating to the provision of indigent defense services.
The director shall use existing employees of the Department of Finance and its existing offices,
as assigned by the Director of Finance. The director's salary shall not exceed the state salary

Section 22-30D-5 Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund. (a) There is hereby
created the Alabama Drycleaning Environmental Response Trust Fund, hereinafter referred to
as the "fund." The fund as so created shall be administered and used by the board
as a drycleaning industry self-insurance program for the benefit of those persons electing
to be covered by this chapter within the time(s) specified in accordance with the provision
