(a) The following words, terms, and phrases where used in this subpart shall have the following respective meanings except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning: (1) "County" means Autauga County in the State of Alabama. Section 45-40-245.60 Reduction of tax on automotive vehicles and trucks. (a) Any other law to the contrary notwithstanding, the amount of sales tax levied and imposed in Lawrence County upon every person, firm, or corporation engaged or continuing within the county in the business of selling at retail any automotive vehicle or truck is reduced by one half of one percent of the gross proceeds of sale of the item. (a) A tax is imposed on the removal within this state of motor fuel from the terminal using the terminal rack, other than by bulk transfer.
