Section 40-15-7 Nonresident decedents. (a) Except as herein otherwise provided, all of the provisions of this chapter shall be applicable to so much of the estates of nonresident decedents as is subject to estate tax under the act of Congress in effect at the time of the death of decedent as consists of real estate or tangible personal property located within this state or other items of property or interest therein lawfully subject to the imposition of an estate tax by the State of Alabama. (a) The County Commission of Jefferson County shall have authority, after notice as provided herein, to move or demolish buildings and structures, or parts of buildings and structures, party walls, and foundations when the same are found by the county commission to be unsafe to the extent of being a public nuisance from any cause. (a) Each license or permit issued by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources or his or her authorized agent shall state the name of the applicant.
