Section 11-6-22 Duties. It shall be the duty of the engineer trainee, appointed under provisions
of this article, subject to approval and direction of the county commission or like governing
body, to assist the county engineer or chief engineer of the division of public roads of said

Section 45-13-70 Members to serve part-time; salary; centralized road system; work plan of
county engineer and annual budget; clerical assistance; recordkeeping; inspection of roads

Section 45-29-71.10 County supervisor. (a) The county commission may, by designating one of
its employees or, in its discretion, employ as new personnel, a county supervisor. The county
supervisor shall serve at the pleasure of the county commission and his or her compensation
