Section 6-5-143 Venue; filing of complaint; application for preliminary injunction. (a) Such
action shall be commenced in the circuit court of the county in which the property is located.
(b) At or before the commencement of the action, a verified copy of the complaint alleging
the facts constituting the nuisance shall be filed in the office of the probate judge of the
county, together with a notice of the pendency of the action, containing the name of the court,
the names of the parties, the object of the action, and a brief description of the property
affected thereby. The probate judge shall be paid the usual fee for recording such lis pendens
and shall immediately record such notice. (c) After the filing of the complaint, application
for a preliminary injunction may be made to the circuit court, a judge thereof or any judge
authorized by the laws of the state to make an order for a preliminary injunction, who shall

Section 9-11-45 License to hunt on wildlife management areas; fee; violations. (a) Unless a
person is properly licensed for a particular activity under the wildlife heritage license,
any person who hunts on state operated wildlife management areas in this state shall pay a
special annual license fee of fifteen dollars ($15) in addition to the amount of the resident
or nonresident's licenses specified in Sections 9-11-44 to 9-11-49, inclusive, payment of
which shall be evidenced by a stamp, license, big game tag system, or other appropriate method

(a) In Houston County, when a negotiable instrument, such as a check or draft, given for a
motor vehicle license is found to be noncollectible for any reason, the judge of probate,
or his or her designee, shall notify the maker or drawer of the negotiable instrument, in
writing, that payment of the negotiable instrument was refused by the drawee and that if the
maker or drawer does not pay the holder thereof the amount due thereon, together with a service

at the expense of their counties, large and well-bound books, in which must be recorded in
a fair hand, or by printing the same, or by the use of a typewriter or other writing or printing,

Legislature hereby establishes the Baldwin County Department of Archives and History to facilitate
