Section 45-23-70 Transfer of office and duties to judge of probate. At the expiration of the
term of office of the chair of the Dale County Commission, the office, power, and duties of
such officer shall be invested in the judge of probate. Effective January 16, 1989, the Judge
of Probate of Dale County shall be the chair and shall have all the duties and powers of the
officer as prescribed by Sections 11-3-1 through 11-3-26, all of which relate to the county
commission. Such duties shall be in addition to any and all other duties prescribed by law
for the Judge of Probate of Dale County. All property, assets, monies, supplies, furniture,
and files of any nature whatsoever, related to the office shall be transferred to the judge.

and any other general or local law of this state, no person shall be appointed to the position
of county license inspector of or for Lawrence County. The position of county license inspector

Section 45-15-200 County license inspector. (a) In Cleburne County, any law or parts of laws
to the contrary notwithstanding, and notwithstanding the provisions of Section 40-12-10 as
amended, providing for the appointment of license inspectors under certain conditions, the
