Section 45-40-240.02 Revenue commissioner - Salary. (a) Beginning with the term of the revenue
commissioner, the revenue commissioner shall receive an addition to his or her salary of three
hundred fifty dollars ($350) per month, payable in equal monthly installments from the general
fund of the county. This salary shall be in addition to all other expense allowances, compensation,
or salary provided by law. This additional salary shall be for the additional duties and responsibilities
imposed upon the revenue commissioner by Part 3 of this article. (b) If at any time the duties

Section 45-40-81.03 Jail and courthouse. (a) In addition to any court costs and fees now or
hereafter authorized in Lawrence County, the Lawrence County Commission may impose by resolution
of the commission an additional fee in an amount not to exceed thirty-five dollars ($35) to
be assessed and taxed as costs on each civil case and on each criminal case, including traffic
cases, but excluding small claims cases, filed in the circuit court, district court, or any

has come to the attention of the Legislature that the present compensation of the circuit
judges and District Attorney for the Twenty-eighth Judicial Circuit is somewhat below the
average of that being paid to circuit judges and district attorneys in other judicial circuits
