Section 45-49-81.21 Expense allowance - Circuit Court Clerk, Register, and Administrator of Estates. (a) The Mobile County Commission is hereby allowed, at their discretion, to pay the circuit court clerk, the County Administrator of Estates, and the Register of the Circuit Court of Mobile County, Alabama, Thirteenth Judicial Circuit, State of Alabama, an expense allowance in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per month, beginning in 1984. In Baldwin County, election officials who work at polling places are hereby entitled to an additional per diem allowance in such an amount as will, together with any amount paid by the state, make the total paid to such officials thirty dollars ($30) for each day they work at the polls. All applications for motor vehicle tags by mail and the correct amount of taxes and fees shall be received by the county license commissioner, on or before the last regular work day before the 20th day of each month, and the commissioner shall mail such tag not later than the end of the same month.
