Section 45-49-230.02 Salaries - Pay plan. (a)(1)a. The repeal of Acts 1976, No. 710, 1976 Regular
Session (Acts 1976, p. 990), as amended, will not result in any financial loss for any deputy
sheriff of any rank or grade, or both. b. This subsection shall include actual range and step
for every position. c. Deputies shall receive 50 percent of the state trooper pay adjustment
as of October 1, 1981, for each pay period retroactive to October 1, 1981, through pay period
ending April 23, 1982. d. The new pay range shall be effective with the pay period beginning
April 24, 1982. e. In converting from the State Trooper Pay Plan to the Mobile County Personnel
Board Pay Plan, any deputy sheriff of any rank or grade whose adjusted pay falls between steps
of the Mobile County Personnel Board Pay Plan shall advance to the next highest step of that

Section 40-23-35 Disposition of revenues from tax. (a) Such amount of money as shall be appropriated
for each fiscal year by the Legislature to the Department of Revenue with which to pay the
salaries, the cost of operation and management of the department shall be deducted, as a first
charge thereon, from the taxes collected under the provisions of this division; provided,
that the expenditure of the sum so appropriated shall be budgeted and allotted pursuant to
Article 4 of Chapter 4 of Title 41, and limited to the amount appropriated to defray the expenses

Section 25-5-313 Schedule of maximum fees. Within 60 days from May 19, 1992, the Workers' Compensation
Medical Services Board shall submit to the Governor an initial schedule of maximum fees for
medical services covered by this article, which schedule shall become effective immediately
upon submission to the Governor. The initial schedule of maximum fees shall be established
by the board in the manner prescribed in this section. The fee for each service in the schedule
shall be exactly equal to an amount derived by multiplying the preferred provider reimbursement
customarily paid on May 19, 1992, by the largest health care service plan incorporated pursuant
to Sections 10-4-100 to 10-4-115, inclusive, by a factor of 1.075, which product shall be

Section 45-49-240.61 Compensation - Revenue commissioner. (a) Effective October 1, 1997, the
Revenue Commissioner of Mobile County shall be paid an annual supplemental salary in the amount
of ten thousand five hundred dollars ($10,500). (b)(1) The supplemental salary, as above determined,
is in addition to the salaries or compensation payable under Section 40-6A-2, and shall be
paid on a pro rata basis out of the first monies collected each tax year by the revenue commissioner
and paid into the general fund of the county. The pro rata share of the supplemental salary
to be paid by each fund or agency receiving ad valorem taxes shall be determined by computing
the percentage that the total collections for each agency bears to the total collection of

Section 45-32-241 Consolidation of unified system. (a) This section shall apply only in Greene
County. (b) The purpose of this section is to conserve revenue and promote the public convenience
in the county by consolidating the office of tax assessor and the office of tax collector

Section 45-47-242.20 Consolidation of offices and duties. (a) Upon the occurrence of a vacancy
in either the office of tax assessor or tax collector, there shall be a county revenue commissioner
in Marion County. Thereafter, a commissioner shall be elected at the general election next
following the expiration of the term of office of the remaining successor. The county revenue
commissioner shall serve for a term of six years next after his or her election and until

Section 40-17-370 Levy, administration, and collection of additional excise tax. (a) Effective
for tax periods beginning after August 31, 2019, an additional excise tax of six cents ($0.06)
is imposed on each net gallon of gasoline and diesel fuel. (b) Effective October 1, 2020,
