Section 45-34-100.20 Composition of board. Beginning in 1986 and continuing until the
expiration of the term of office of any member of the Henry County Board of Education elected
to such board in 1984, the Henry County Board of Education shall be composed of six members.
Thereafter, such board shall be composed of five members elected from five single member districts
within the county, as hereinafter defined. The chair for the board shall be elected from the
membership of the board immediately after the members elected to the board in 1986 have taken
their seats on the board, and thereafter the board, in like manner, shall elect a chair every

Section 45-39A-13.02 Composition of civil service board. The civil service board shall
consist of five members to be appointed by the members of the City Council of the City of
Florence. In each year the city council shall appoint one person as the successor to the member
of the civil service board whose term shall expire that year. The person so appointed shall
hold office for a term of five years from and including the first Tuesday after the first
Monday of April of the year and until his or her successor shall be appointed and qualify
