Section 45-38-80 Solicitor's fee; disposition of funds. (a) In all juvenile, traffic, criminal, and quasi-criminal cases in the juvenile, district, circuit, and municipal courts in Lamar County, a docket fee, hereinafter referred to as a solicitor's fee, shall be assessed in each case. The fees, when collected, shall be distributed monthly to the Solicitor's Fund or District Attorney's Fund in the county or to the fund that may be hereafter prescribed by law for the solicitor's fee. Section 45-39-200 License commissioner - Compensation. (a) There is hereby created the office of County License Commissioner in Lauderdale County, Alabama. No later than 30 days from May 17, 1979, the legislative delegation representing Lauderdale County, by a majority vote thereof, shall appoint a county license commissioner who shall serve for a term expiring on the first Monday after the second Tuesday in January 1981.
