Section 41-18-1 Text. Article I. Findings and Purposes. (a) The party states find that the South has a sense of community based on common social, cultural and economic needs and fostered by a regional tradition. There are vast potentialities for mutual improvement of each state in the region by cooperative planning for the development, conservation and efficient utilization of human and natural resources in a geographic area large enough to afford a high degree of flexibility in identifying and taking maximum advantage of opportunities for healthy and beneficial growth. Section 24-1A-6 Bonds. (a) General. The authority may from time to time issue its negotiable bonds in such principal amounts as, in the opinion of the authority, shall be necessary to provide sufficient funds for achieving the corporate purposes thereof, the payment of interest on bonds of the authority, establishment of reserves to secure such bonds and all other expenditures of the authority incident to, and necessary or convenient to, carrying out its corporate purposes and powers. Section 38-15-6 Fees. (a)(1) The department may charge a fee for the registration. The fee may be set by rule of the department and may be based on the type of facility and the capacity of the facility. After the initial registration approval, the department may charge a renewal fee annually on each anniversary of the effective date of the registration. The fees are for the purpose of administering the registration program and enforcing the requirements specified in this chapter and shall be set accordingly. Section 40-2A-15 Alabama Local Tax Institute of Standards and Training - Creation; composition; duties. (a) There is hereby created the Alabama Local Tax Institute of Standards and Training.
