Section 45-39-40.01 Applicability; purpose; construction. This article is applicable only in Lauderdale County. It is enacted for the purpose of safeguarding the public health, safety, and welfare by providing for county administrative control, supervision, and regulation, including certain registration and licensing, of the practice of barbering, teaching of barbering, barbers, barber instructors, barber students, barber apprentices, barbershops, and barber schools.
