Section 45-35A-51.08 Personnel director. The personnel director shall be elected or appointed by the personnel board and he or she shall serve at the pleasure of the board. He or she shall be over 21 years of age, be of recognized good character and administrative ability, and be or become within 30 days of appointment, a bonafide resident of Dothan. The salary of the personnel director shall be fixed by the personnel board.
