Section 45-11-12 Transaction fees. In addition to all other fees and costs provided by law, a transaction fee of five dollars and twenty-five cents ($5.25) shall be paid to the Chilton County Tax Assessor and Tax Collector or their successor office, the Judge of Probate, and the Sheriff when public business that is computer generated is transacted in the office of any of the county officers. Twenty-five cents of each transaction fee shall be used to fund animal control in Chilton County. (a) The Dallas County Commission may impose a special transaction fee not exceeding five dollars ($5) to be paid to the Dallas County License Commissioner when public business is transacted in the office of the license commissioner.
