Section 40-12-10 License inspectors generally; when taxes due and payable; collection and distribution
of penalties and citation fees on delinquent licenses. (a) The county commission of each county
is hereby authorized and empowered to appoint a license inspector. (b) It shall be the duty
of the license inspector to scrutinize the records and stubs kept in the office of the probate
judge and also to examine the license records of each city or town located in the county or

Section 45-49-151.17 Disposition of funds. (a) All fees, commissions, taxes, and other monies,
including fines and forfeitures, received under this subpart shall be paid to the racing commission
and shall be remitted by it to the county treasurer for deposit in the county treasury to
the account of the Mobile County Racing Commission as directed by the racing commission. All
monies remaining after payment of the expenses incurred in the administration of this subpart

Section 22-27-6 Authority to adopt resolution or ordinance; rules and regulations; noncompliance
as public nuisance; citation; court proceedings. (a) The county commission may by resolution
or ordinance provide for the orderly collection of fees charged under the provisions of this
article. Such commission may establish periodic payment systems and is authorized to purchase
necessary supplies and materials and employ personnel necessary to effectuate any such periodic

Section 45-30-240.71 Disposition of proceeds. In order that Franklin County might be able to
purchase and maintain a unified and modern computerized system for county records, the proceeds
from that fee prescribed in Section 40-4-5, to be limited to one dollar thirty-five cents
($1.35) per transaction, on transactions performed by the county tax assessor shall be distributed
