Section 45-8A-24 Membership; appointments; payments to City of Anniston. (a) It is the intention of the Legislature of Alabama that the majority of the members appointed to the Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Anniston shall be appointed by the City Council of Anniston. (b) The governing body of the City of Anniston, which authorized the creation of a corporation for the purpose of operating a water system and a sewer system pursuant to Article 9, Chapter 50, Title 11, shall restructure the Water Works and Sewer Board of the City of Anniston and increase the membership of the board by two members for a total of seven board members. Section 45-8A-71.05 Civil service board - Compensation; clerical assistance and legal counsel. (a)(1) The chair of the board serving in that position before June 1, 2017, shall be paid one hundred twenty-five dollars ($125) per month, the vice chair serving in that position before June 1, 2017, shall be paid one hundred ten dollars ($110) per month, and all other members of the board serving on the board before June 1, 2017, shall be paid one hundred dollars ($100) per month. Section 11-80-13 Cemetery rehabilitation authorities. (a)(1) County commissions may establish a county cemetery rehabilitation authority, hereinafter authority, to designate, register, and maintain neglected cemeteries lying outside any municipal area within the county.
