Section 45-37A-150.01 Establishment of districts. (a) The City Council of the City of Fairfield, may, not less than six months prior to the next regular general municipal election in 1992, by ordinance adopted by a majority of the membership of the council, divide the municipality into six single-member districts and designate the districts as numbers one through six, pursuant to subsection (b). Section 11-44B-8 Temporary and permanent vacancies in office of mayor; vacancy on city council. (a) Temporary Vacancy in the Office of Mayor. The council shall elect from its members, a president pro tempore of the council.
