Section 45-41A-41.04 Notice of violation. (a) Prior to imposing a civil penalty under this part, the city shall first mail via first class United States mail a notice of violation to the owner of the motor vehicle which is recorded by the photographic traffic signal enforcement system while committing a traffic signal violation. The notice shall be sent not later than the 30th day after the date the traffic signal violation is recorded to: (1) The owner's address as shown on the registration records of the Alabama Department of Revenue. (2) If the vehicle is registered in another state or country, to the owner's address as shown on the motor vehicle registration records of the department or agency of the other state or country analogous to the Alabama Department of Revenue. Section 45-44-170.05 Enforcement; fines. (a) The operation of an unlicensed junkyard that is required to be licensed pursuant to this section constitutes a public nuisance. (b) The Macon County Commission shall adopt regulations and requirements for issuing licenses for the operation of junkyards within the limits defined in this article and may revoke the licenses at any time the junkyard fails to conform to the requirements of this article, and shall charge a license fee of not more than five hundred dollars ($500) and not less than one hundred dollars ($100) payable each fiscal year. Section 11-3A-3 Adoption procedures for ordinances; administrative fees; penalties. (a) Following the notice requirements set out in subsection (b), the county commission, by majority vote, may adopt ordinances for the implementation and enforcement of the powers set out in Section 11-3A-2.
