Section 13A-11-61.3 Regulation of firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories. (a) The purpose of this section is to establish within the Legislature complete control over regulation and policy pertaining to firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories in order to ensure that such regulation and policy is applied uniformly throughout this state to each person subject to the state's jurisdiction and to ensure protection of the right to keep and bear arms recognized by the Constitutions of the State of Alabama and the United States. This section is to be liberally construed to accomplish its purpose. (b) For the purposes of this section, the following words shall have the following meanings: (1) AMMUNITION. Fixed cartridge ammunition, shotgun shells, the individual components of fixed cartridge ammunition and shotgun shells, projectiles for muzzle-loading firearms, and any propellant used in firearms or ammunition. (a) The board may deny, revoke, or suspend a license granted pursuant to this chapter or otherwise discipline a licensee on any of the following grounds: (1) Conviction of a crime which the board determines to be of a nature as to render the person convicted unfit to practice marriage and family therapy. Section 8-22-17 Equity action by person injured from violation of chapter authorized; injunctive relief; damages; attorneys fees; jurisdiction. (a) Any person injured by any violation, or who would suffer injury from any threatened violation, of this chapter may maintain an action in any court of equity jurisdiction to prevent, restrain, or enjoin such violation or threatened violation. Section 13A-11-290 Leaving child or incapacitated person unattended in motor vehicle prohibited. (a) This section shall be known and cited as the Amiyah White Act. (a) The commission or its staff may on its own, or on the verified complaint in writing of any person, investigate the actions and records of a licensee. The commission may issue subpoenas and compel the testimony of witnesses and the production of records and documents during an investigation.
