Section 11-52-11 Proposed construction of streets, public buildings, utilities, etc., to be submitted for approval of commission after adoption of master plan; overruling of commission. Section 11-99-4 Creation of tax increment districts and approval of project plans. In order to exercise its powers under this chapter, a public entity shall take the following steps: (1) The local governing body shall hold a public hearing at which all interested parties are afforded a reasonable opportunity to express their views on the concept of tax increment financing, on the proposed creation of a tax increment district and its proposed boundaries, and its benefits to the public entity. Section 45-43-170.04 Solid waste disposal - Fees; public nuisances. (a) The Lowndes County Commission shall by resolution provide for the orderly collection of fees charged under this article. The county commission may establish a periodic payment system and is authorized to purchase necessary supplies and materials and employ personnel necessary to effectuate any such periodic payment system.
