Section 45-13-130 Powers and duties. The county commission shall employ a county engineer, who shall be a qualified and competent civil engineer, possessing all of the qualities as specified for county engineers pursuant to law. The county engineer shall devote his or her time and attention to the maintenance and construction of the Clarke County public roads, highways, bridges, and county shops. (a) In addition to any and all other documents presented for examination and execution of a bond financing agreement which, for the purposes of this chapter, takes place at the time a county commission makes an official award of the bonds, the county commission shall execute a county government bond financing review form.
