Section 28-3A-7 Importer license; issuance; restrictions on sales; registration of labels; seizure of unregistered goods; monthly reports; inspections. (a) Upon applicant's compliance with the provisions of this chapter and the regulations made thereunder, the board shall issue to applicant an importer license which shall authorize the licensee to import alcoholic beverages manufactured outside the United States of America into this state or for sale or distribution within this state of liquor and wine to the board or the state, and table wine and beer to wholesaler licensees of the board. (a) The Legislature finds that nudity, sexual conduct, and the depiction or simulation thereof in conjunction with the furnishing of alcoholic beverages in public places is contrary to the safety, health, and morals of the inhabitants of Calhoun County, Alabama, and is desirous of prohibiting such conduct. Section 29-11-1 Transfer of certain state funds to offset costs of services. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, in order to provide for an increase in receipts into the State General Fund for the funding of the operations of state government, there is hereby established the authority to transfer from the following state departments state funds in those amounts as are annually specified in the State General Fund appropriations act beginning with the fiscal year ending September 30, 2014, and each fiscal year thereafter. Section 41-27-5 State Bureau of Investigations. (a) The State Bureau of Investigations is hereby created in the Alabama State Law Enforcement Agency. The bureau shall succeed to and be vested with all powers of the Alabama Bureau of Investigation.
