Section 45-37-161.01 Expense allowance. (a) Those Jefferson County officials holding elective
or appointive office who now receive fifty dollars ($50) per month shall upon January 1, 1982,
receive one hundred dollars ($100) per month to be paid monthly out of the county general
fund. (b) This allowance shall be in lieu of an automobile furnished by the county, and shall
be in addition to all other compensation and allowance provided for such officials by any
