Section 45-9-60 Compensation. (a) Pursuant to Amendment No. 103 of the Constitution of Alabama
of 1901, the coroner serving Chambers County shall receive a monthly salary of seven hundred
dollars ($700) effective September 1, 2003. (b) The salary provided for in this section shall
be paid in equal monthly installments from the county treasury and shall be paid in lieu of

Section 45-46-60 Expense allowance; mileage allowance. (a) Retroactive to January 1, 1992,
the Coroner of Marengo County, Alabama, shall be entitled to receive an expense allowance
