Section 32-1-6 Depositing driver's license in lieu of bail in certain cases - Violation of
traffic ordinance of incorporated municipality. (a) Whenever any person lawfully possessed
of a chauffeur's or driver's license theretofore issued to him or her by the Department of
Public Safety of the State of Alabama, or under the laws of any other state or territory,
or the District of Columbia of the United States, shall be arrested and charged with any violation
of any traffic ordinance of any incorporated municipality, for which under the provisions
of such ordinance the arresting officer is directed to take a written bond, he or she shall
have the option of depositing his or her chauffeur's or driver's license so issued to him
or her with the arresting officer or the clerk of the district court or municipal court, in
lieu of any other security which may be required for his or her appearance in the district

to drive, etc., for refusal to submit to test. (a) Any person who operates a motor vehicle
upon the public highways of this state shall be deemed to have given his consent, subject
to the provisions of this division, to a chemical test or tests of his blood, breath or urine
for the purpose of determining the alcoholic content of his blood if lawfully arrested for

Section 9-16-83 Permits - Contents of application; reclamation plan; copy of application filed
for public inspection; insurance; blasting plan. (a) Each application for a surface coal mining
reclamation permit under this article shall be accompanied by a fee as determined by the regulatory
authority, but not to exceed the anticipated cost of reviewing, administering, and enforcing
the permit. In no event shall the permit fee be less than one thousand dollars ($1,000). The
regulatory authority shall develop procedures to enable the cost of the fee to be paid over

permit application has been approved but before such a permit is issued, the applicant shall
file with the regulatory authority, on a form prescribed and furnished by the regulatory authority,
a bond for performance payable to the state and conditioned upon faithful performance of all
the requirements of this article and the permit. The bond shall cover all lands disturbed

constructed, acquired, or installed by the district with proceeds of assessments, the board
may require the payment of a connection, tap fee, or increased tap fee by persons owning property
