Section 45-22-243.66 Charge for collection; disposition of funds. The State Department of Revenue
shall charge Cullman County for collecting the special county taxes levied such amount or
percentage of total collections as may be agreed upon by the Commissioner of Revenue and the
court of county commissioners, board of revenue, or like governing body of the county, but
such charge shall not in any event exceed 10 percent of the total amount of special county
taxes collected hereunder within the county. Such charge for collecting the special taxes
for the county may be deducted each month from the special sales and special use taxes collected
before certifying the amount of the proceeds thereof due Cullman County for that month. The
Commissioner of Revenue shall pay into the State Treasury all county taxes collected under

Section 11-69-1 Adoption and implementation of plan. (a) Any Class 7 or 8 municipality in this
state may adopt a rural scenic right-of-way plan for the development, improvement, and use
of right-of-way along municipal roads and streets and county roads within the corporate limits
and police jurisdiction of the municipality except right-of-way, highways, streets, or roads
that are under exclusive or concurrent jurisdiction of the Alabama Department of Transportation.
Pursuant to the plan, the municipality may designate right-of-way adjacent to a municipal
road or street or a county road to be developed, improved, and used for recreational or beautification

Section 40-19-17 Motor Carrier Fund. All such mileage tax, penalties, fees and amounts collected
under this chapter shall be paid into the Treasury within 30 days after their receipt and
shall be kept separate and apart from all other funds by the Treasurer in a fund to be known
