Section 45-35A-51.14 Transfer. The appointing authority, when desirable, may transfer a classified employee under his or her jurisdiction from one position to another in the same class. Any classified employee may be transferred from one department to another in the same class, provided the director has authorized the transfer and it has been approved by the appointing authority concerned.
