Section 21-9-9 Duties of board. The board shall perform all of the following duties: (1) Make rules and regulations for the provision of rehabilitation services. (2) Direct and supervise the expenditure of legislative appropriations for rehabilitation services. (3) Prescribe qualifications for the commissioner, directors, professionals, and administrative and clerical employees. (4) Disseminate information concerning and promoting interest in disability and rehabilitation issues among the citizens of Alabama. Section 45-28-121.08 Demotion, dismissal, suspension, or reductions in pay. (a) No employee in the classified service may be demoted, dismissed, suspended, or reduced in pay without just cause. (a) The Alabama Department of Revenue shall distribute the net proceeds of the lodging tax as follows: (1) Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds of the lodging tax shall be distributed to the Florence/Lauderdale Tourism Board.
