Section 40-2A-7 Uniform revenue procedures. (a) Maintenance of records; audit and subpoena authority; authority to issue regulations. (1) In addition to all other recordkeeping requirements otherwise set out in this title, taxpayers shall keep and maintain an accurate and complete set of records, books, and other information sufficient to allow the department to determine the correct amount of value or correct amount of any tax, license, permit, or fee administered by the department, or other records or information as may be necessary for the proper administration of any matters under the jurisdiction of the department. (a) A person charged with a criminal offense specified in subsection (b) whose jurisdiction is in the circuit or district court of the Thirty-first Judicial Circuit may apply to the District Attorney of the Thirty-first Judicial Circuit for admittance to the pretrial diversion program. (a) A person commits the crime of interfering with judicial proceedings if: (1) He engages in disorderly, contemptuous or insolent behavior, committed during the sitting of a court in its immediate view and presence, and directly tending to interrupt its proceedings or impair the respect due its authority; (2) He intentionally creates a breach of the peace or disturbance under circumstances directly tending to interrupt a court's proceedings; (3) As an attorney, clerk or other officer of the court, he knowingly fails to perform or violates a duty of his office, or knowingly disobeys a lawful directive or order of a court; (4) Knowing that he is not authorized to practice law, he represents himself to be an attorney and acts as such in a court proceeding; or (5) He records or attempts to record the deliberation of a jury. Section 13A-10-52 Fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement officer. (a) It shall be unlawful for a person to intentionally flee by any means from anyone the person knows to be a law enforcement officer if the person knows the officer is attempting to arrest the person. (b) It shall be unlawful for a person while operating a motor vehicle on a street, road, alley, or highway in this state, to intentionally flee or attempt to elude a law enforcement officer after having received a signal from the officer to bring the vehicle to a stop.
