Section 45-45-82.03 Juvenile court Advisory Board and Drug Abuse Prevention Fund. (a) In all criminal and juvenile delinquency cases in the circuit and district courts of Madison County wherein the defendant or the juvenile is charged with a violation of the Alabama Uniform Controlled Substances Act the clerk of the respective court shall charge and collect a fee of ten dollars ($10) in addition to all other costs and charges now or hereafter provided. (b) The monies derived from the charges herein prescribed shall be remitted to the Madison County Commission and be deposited to a fund which shall be designated as the Madison County Juvenile Court Drug Abuse Prevention Fund. (a) In Coosa County, in addition to any and all court costs, fees, and charges now or hereafter authorized, there shall be assessed by the clerk of the circuit court a one hundred dollar ($100) charge on the service of all failure to appear warrants executed by the deputies or Sheriff of Coosa County. (b) The service fee imposed in this section shall be assessed against a defendant upon conviction. Section 45-21-242.09 Eligible fire departments and rescue squads - Use of funds. Funds paid to eligible fire departments and rescue squads shall only be expended for fire protection and emergency medical and rescue services including training, supplies, and equipment. The funds may also be expended to purchase liability insurance to insure coverage of acts or omissions which are directly related to the functions of a fire department or rescue squad which are committed by a fire department or rescue squad or the personnel of a fire department or rescue squad. Section 45-40-141.04 Collection and administration of fee; disposition of funds. The fee provided in this part shall be levied, collected, administered, and enforced at the same time, in the same manner, and under the same requirements and laws as state ad valorem taxes. Section 45-43-241 Ad valorem tax authorized. (a) Pursuant to subsection (f) of Amendment 373 to the Constitution of Alabama of 1901, the Lowndes County Commission, in addition to any other tax, may levy an ad valorem tax in the amount of three mills on each dollar of taxable property in the county. The tax herein authorized, if levied, shall begin on the tax year beginning October 1, 2003. (a) In Baldwin County, a supervision fee of twenty dollars ($20) per month shall be levied against any person placed under supervised probation status of the Juvenile Court of Baldwin County, and shall be assessed, collected, waived, or determined as provided for in subsection (b).
