Section 45-49-85.04 Additional recording fee; methods of archiving court records. (a) In Mobile
County, a special recording fee of two dollars ($2) shall be collected by the judge of probate
on each real or personal property, uniform commercial code, judicial, or other instrument
recorded or filed for record in the probate court of the county. The special recording fee
shall be in addition to all other fees, taxes, and other charges required by law to be paid
upon the recording or filing for record of any real or personal property, uniform commercial
code, judicial, or other instrument. All special recording fees collected shall be deposited
by the judge of probate in any depository in the county as designated by the county governing

Section 45-8-22 Special licenses; additional taxes; maintenance of records. (a) It shall be
unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation, other than the state Alcoholic Beverage Control
Board, to sell at retail in Calhoun County any spirituous or vinous liquors without first
obtaining a special license from the judge of probate that shall be in addition to all other
licenses required by law. The amount of the special license shall be determined by the county
commission and shall be levied in the same manner as other county licenses are levied. Licenses
required by this subsection shall expire on September 30th following the date of purchase.

Section 22-8A-14 Filing and recording of living will; fee; inspection; duty of declarant to
provide copy to health care providers. (a) A person may file and have recorded a living will
in the office of the judge of probate in the county where the person resides. For the purpose
of this section, the term "living will" means an advanced directive for health care
