Section 7-9A-102 Definitions and index of definitions. (a) Article 9A definitions. In this article: (1) "Accession" means goods that are physically united with other goods in such a manner that the identity of the original goods is not lost. The Interstate Compact for Juveniles is enacted into law and entered into with all jurisdictions mutually adopting the compact in the form substantially as follows: THE INTERSTATE COMPACT FOR JUVENILES Article I. Purpose. The compacting states to this interstate compact recognize that each state is responsible for the proper supervision or return of juveniles, delinquents and status offenders who are on probation or parole and who have absconded, escaped or run away from supervision and control and in so doing have endangered their own safety and the safety of others. (a) The Revenue Commissioner of Cherokee County is hereby authorized to take the necessary action to merge the budgetary operations and functions of the office. (a) In Lauderdale County, the combination of the offices of tax assessor and tax collector authorized by a resolution by the county commission, pursuant to Section 45-39-241.60, is hereby designated as the office of revenue commissioner.
